“Great day out celebrating our wedding anniversary!”
My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary with a Yarra Valley wine bus tour. Ian was our tour guide and was absolutely outstanding! His friendly personality and knowledge of the Yarra Valley simply added to the experience. The wineries chosen were all handpicked by Ian based on his personal research, which demonstrates his attention to detail. We particularly loved Hanrahans Vineyard. Thank you Ian for making us feel very special on our anniversary. I highly recommend The Wine Bus to anyone wanting to explore the picturesque Yarra Valley in style!

“Great tour and driver!”

“Absolutely Amazing”
Wow!
The word ‘wow’ doesn’t even cover it! This was the best winery tour I have been on all the way from the entertainment from our trusty tour guide to the wine (and chocolate at the end). This made my birthday start off with a bang!

“Great day out”
My husband and I recently had a day with Ian on Winebus and enjoyed the experience very much.
Ian was a great guide, and the places we visited were in lovely locations and gave a very informative overview of all of their wines and the vineyards they each have.
The lunch at Tokar estate was really nice, and the chance to go to some established places like Chandon and then a new estate like Helen and Joey’s was a really good mix.
The Yearing Farm visit was also good and the cider tasting there is a must (buy a chilled bottle for $7 to drink there).
The whole tour is quite informal (it doesn’t need you to be a wine buff to enjoy) and Ian does a good job explaining about the wines and the region, allowing enough time to sample plenty and make the most of the day.
Would definitely recommend this tour to try some wines and see some of the Yarra Valley as well.

“Great day out visiting Victorian wineries with family”
From the first conversation to the actual tour, Ian and his wife were very informative and accommodating to our needs and wishes. Ian helped create a wonderful and memorable day out for us to celebrate our parents 50th wedding anniversary and we visited 4 places without feeling rushed for time. His recommendations were also appreciated given we had not visited these wineries before. Thanks Winebus!!

“Exactly what we were after”
I chose Winebus because the range of wineries they offered were different to most of the others and as a local who has been on a number of wine tours in the Yarra Valley I hoped we’d at least get a couple of new ones to try during the course of the day. I was rapt when Ian told us the plan for the day and it included all new wineries to me. My friend and I had a lovely day with just the right amount of time at each winery, each with a wonderful differing array of wines, gorgeous outlooks and fabulous hosts. Each cellar door treated us with respect and answered all our questions, spending quality time with us which we appreciated. The lunch location chosen was top notch too – Tokar Estate impressed, made even more special by Rita Tokar dropping by our table for a chat with us and Ian. All in all a superb day. I have no hesitation in recommending Winebus as a quality operator that ensures satisfaction for their guests.

“Fun day in wine country”
My wife and I had a wonderful day-long trip to the Yarra Valley in Victora, AUS. Ian, our guide, was a fount of information about Australia, the Yarra Valley, and wine. This was a small group that quickly become very convivial, even before the wine began to flow. The lunch stop was outstanding, the wineries were terrific, trending toward the smaller, family-owned vineyards and labels. Along the way Ian was also able to “deliver” a small troop of ‘roos feeding between the rows of vines. All-in-all a fun day in a beautiful setting.

“Birthday wine tour”
We had an amazing day! We toured to a few wineries around the Yarra for Shedfest. Our driver Dennis was lovely! He was very friendly and very happy to adjust to our plans as they day went on. The bus was clean, comfortable and he let us play our own music (regardless of how terrible it may have been at times). The whole organisation process from the start was wonderful.

“Great day out”
Ian was a great host and the wineries we visited were all welcoming and friendly with some great wines. Lunch was perfect and chocolates a lovely way to end the day. Scenery in the Yarra Valley was beautiful. Well worth the money and highly recommend.

“Whatever you do book this tour”
It can be quite daunting picking the right tour as there a few to choose from in this area. Man I chose well!! My partner and I and sister had one of the best days which we will remember for years to come. Ian was a fabulous host who was welcoming, professional but also had us all in stitches with his funny personality. What a treat! The wineries were fantastic and had an absolutely delicious lunch at Tokar Estate. One of the yummiest steaks I have tried with delicious potatoes and fresh veges. My partner and sister had the Fish and they loved it also. I know the menu here would probably change but the quality was outstanding and the setting and service beautiful! The young man doing the tasting at Tokar was exceptional, what a great asset. So nice to see someone so passionate about his job. Helen and Joey, and Yearing both smaller wineries were lovely also and again the service from here was outstanding. The chocolate factory was amazing, high quality chocolate and sublime icecream! The scenery was beautiful and Chandon Estate just beautiful, champagne at 10.30am what a fab way to kick off the day. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience. I will be recommending it to everyone.

“Excellent daytrip package”
Ian was a tremendous host – surpassed only by the various hosts at the various wineries visited – Chandon, Tokar, Hanrahans, Helen & Joeys. Lovely lunch at Tokar. Van meant a small group who left as friends, rather than a busload of strangers. Looked a three Yarra Valley wine tours – glad I picked this one.

“total package”
what a day :) the wine tour was the start of my hens weekend in Melbourne, my girlfriends and I had all just flown in from Sydney, one coming from LAX , with a delay, Mark was awesome, he was just waiting for us, keeping in contact letting us know we will still have a great day – and we did! He was informative, funny and chilled. We laughed so much, and had the best day at the most beautiful vineyards, and amazing pizzas and beer and cider tasting! The variety was incredible and only wish we could do it all over again! Thank you Mark, we are still laughing about your unicorn call ;)

“Excellent tour”
There are quite a few options when booking a wine tour in Australia but we decided to go with this one as it was recommended by a friend who had previously been on it. We were definitely not disappointed! Our driver and tour guide, Ian, was friendly and knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. The wine tastings themselves were excellent, with every effort made to find a wine that each individual would like. Ian gave us enough time at each location to explore, taste and shop and the whole day went by far too quickly! Great food, great wine and amazing chocolate – would definitely recommend.

“Fantastic day out”
We had a wonderful day out in Yarra Valley for my birthday. Ian was excellent not only as a tour guide on the day, but for communication prior to the tour as well. Can’t fault Winebus! Had a wonderful tour at Chandon, lunch at Tokar Estate was beautiful (dietary requirements catered for), visits to 2 other wineries and we topped off the day with a visit to the chocolate factory. We had rainy weather but Ian was ready with umbrellas for us all. A wonderful way to spend a day out with friends.

“A great day out”
This tour was such a great day out in the beautiful Yarra Valley with a small tour group. We really enjoyed visiting the wineries and tasting the beautiful wines. Our tour guide Ian was very knowledgeable about wines and champagnes and the history of the Yarra Valley, The lunch we had at Tokar Estate Winery was absolutely superb! Do yourself a big favour and book this tour. You won’t regret it.
