Terms and Conditions

The tour is dependent on minimum numbers and we reserve the right to cancel the tour if we do not have sufficient numbers to operate. If this happens we will contact you 1-2 days in advance and discuss other options with you.

We have the right to alter the itinerary during peak demand or some private events come up at any winery we may be unable to visit as normal.

Booking a PUBLIC tour; we will ask for credit card security at the time of booking. Prices stated are per person, in Australian dollars and are subject to change. Payment is required in full, prior to the tour commencing. Visa, Master and Amex card are accepted.

Cancellation a PUBLIC tour;

– at least 7 days before the tour you receive a 100% refund.
– at least 3 days before the tour date you receive 50% refund.
– “No shows” on the day is a late cancellation, No Refund.
– We will give you a full refund if any cancellation caused by us.

Booking a PRIVATE tour; Require credit card details and a non-refundable deposit of $390 to secure the booking. Full payment is required at least 14 days before the tour commences.All fares are in Australian dollars (AUD).

Cancellation a PRIVATE tours;
– at least 30 days before the tour date, 100% refund of balance after deposit.
– at least 14 days before the tour date, 75% refund of balance after deposit.
– less than 14 days, 50% refund of balance after deposit.
– Reduce/increase numbers in group bookings must inform us at least 7 days before the tour date.
– “No Show” on the day, No Refund.
– We will give you a full refund if any cancellation caused by us.

Bring the kids on a private tour, but they can’t taste the wine.

Winery tours are specifically designed for adults; We can accommodate children on PRIVATE TOURS with some stipulations. If a child is aged between 7 and 17 years, the cost is $90. Only one child is allowed for two full paying adults. Our buses are not equipped with appropriate ‘child’ restraints. Child waiver forms must be signed for children under 14 years prior to departing.

Dietary requirements.

Winery restaurants have an Allergens Menu and can accommodate most dietary requests: Vegetarian, gluten free, nut free, dairy free, fructose free and seafood / crustacean free. Please advise when booking your tour.

Get ready to be picked up.

We needs to know your pick-up point – 24 hours prior to departure. There is NO REFUND for passengers who miss the bus because they changed their pick-up location and do not tell us or fail to get to the pick-up location at the scheduled departure time. Melbourne CBD Pickup Locations

More Winebus® small print.

  • To consume alcohol at the venues, passengers must be able to prove they are over 18 years of age.
  • Winebus® reserves the right to use alternate (vehicles with extra capacity) and operators.
  • Winebus® reserves the right to alter any part of the itinerary without notice.
  • Passengers who soil or vomit in the bus will be charged a cleaning fee of $50-$120.
  • Smoking is not permitted on our vehicles or inside winery buildings.
  • Food are not allowed to consume on the bus.

Fire Safety Procedures:

During the summer months, when days are rated as ‘Extreme’ or ‘Code Red’  by the CFA some wineries may choose to close the property to all visitors. The decision is usually made the day before, but can happen at short notice. Winebus® reserves the right to alter the itinerary if this occurs or cancel the tour in the event of extreme weather conditions and bush fires.

Winebus® is NOT a party bus.

The consumption of alcohol is NOT permitted on the bus. Intoxicated and drunken behaviour will not be tolerated. Unruly passengers causing disturbance will be removed from the bus, no refunds will be given. Bringing your own food or drink is not allowed in the wineries. Wineries have the right to refuse service and refuse admission. Winebus® will not be held responsible for any damage caused intentionally or otherwise to people or property/venues and the passengers and / or organiser will be held liable to cover any additional costs incurred.

Insurance

Winebus® recommends you have adequate traveller’s insurance that covers illness, delays, loss of property and all the other stuff insurance policies are good for.
